To become an Accepted, see the requirements on the Novice page.
After passing the Arches, an Accepted is given a list of 10 things they must complete before becoming Aes
Sedai. (It will take you a minimum of 12 weeks to complete this list.) You need to be able to provide links
to all of these threads.

1. Post in your rooms frequently, with your character's reflections on what she's been up to. Though your
chore load has lessened, you are still expected to clean your own room and quarters. If you do not post in
your room for one month, it will be considered dirty and you will be penanced.

2. Act as assistant to an Aes Sedai in teaching a novice class, or teach your own, or simply oversee novice
channeling practice. Can be informal or formal, via chat or message boards, but the writing must be
posted for us to read. Should cover what the girls have already learned in classes.

3. Serve attendance in the Amyrlin's study as a runner at least once. It is your job to keep an eye on
threads in the Amyrlin's study and post there occasionally. Make sure you have time for the thread, as you
will be penanced for unnecessary delay.

4. Speak with Aes Sedai of various Ajahs and choose your Ajah to aspire to, or at least have it narrowed
down to a few main focuses.

5. Take at least three Accepted classes or private lessons with a Sister, not including Accepted and
Advanced Channeling. (Specific channeling classes such as Linking, Shielding, etc. do count.)

6. Complete any Ajah-related assignments given by your Sponsor, or various sisters of your aspiring Ajah.
If your aspirancy is undecided even after you have been Accepted for years, your indecisiveness will slow
your raising a bit. (It is possible to be raised without ever picking an aspirancy, and some girls have even
chosen a different Ajah from the one they aspired to in the past. The Ajah may turn you down in such
circumstances, though, so ideally you are able to make your choice as Accepted and work with them to be
raised.)

7. Complete Accepted Channeling.

8. Post frequently and well in your Advanced Channeling.

9. Post practicing the Hundred Weaves at least 10 times, showing improvement in focus, strength, and
skill over time.

10. Make up and email to the Amyrlin and the Mistress of Novices 3 ideas for weaves for the Hundred
Weaves. They should be fairly unique from those already on the list. Bear in mind some of the weakest
Aes Sedai in the Tower, who barely had the strength to pass their test, when designing these weaves.
Dexterity and focus should be key points. The Hall may choose those weaves they like to add to the
permanent list.

Of course, as you near the end of this list, your character needs to demonstrate a willingness to be Aes
Sedai, and the intelligence and self control expected of one who is ready to be Aes Sedai.

When this list is completed, please email the Amyrlin Seat and Mistress of Novices with links in the
numbered order. They will look over what you have accomplished, and meet with the Hall and your
Sponsor to decide if you are ready to be called.
How to Become An Aes Sedai
1. Accepted are not allowed to leave the Tower Grounds without permission.
2. Accepted will teach lessons to the novices, and run errands for Aes Sedai.
3. Accepted quarters must be kept neat and clean. They will periodically be inspected by the Amyrlin
and by the Mistress of Novices.
4. If there is to be a man in an Accepted room, the door must remain open.
5. Accepted may address Aes Sedai, but with the formal Sedai ending to her name.
6. Accepeted are to appear neat and clean, and their manner should reflect that of a person striving to be
Aes Sedai.
7. Accepted are to wear the Great Serpent Ring on the third finger of her left hand.

Breaking of rules will result in an assigned penance.
Continuous rule breaking will result in being kept an Accepted longer.
Penances will be harsher than they were for novices, as you are expected to know your place by now.
